The Paranaguá port is one of the three most important ports in Brazil.
The Southern region where it is located is affected by strong winds, waves, frequent fog, river discharge and other factors provoking changes in the local hydrodynamic conditions and
resulting in complex and challenging navigation.
With the MOTUS Wave Buoy, the information system SISMO® will improve navigation safety with real-time monitoring of metocean parameters, by providing a better understanding of hydrodynamical variables that can affect ships when entering or leaving the port’s complex.
