Monitoring Japanese earthquake zones
Aanderaa is helping monitor Japanese earthquake zones.
The Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) has developped and used photo/multiparameter bottom landers in titanium to investigate environmental changes of the seafloor after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake. These camera and sensor platforms are equipped with several Aanderaa instruments including the SeaGuardII Doppler Current Profiler. Read more.
