Underway surface water system installed on former around-the-world race yacht to measure the effects of shipping.



In the EU Sheba project environmental effects of shipping is measured in the Baltic Sea region from the sail yacht Hrimfare which is a former long distance race yacht, converted to do science. The boat is packed with equipment from Aanderaa and Chelsea Technologies Group Ltd to measure and collect samples in the atmosphere and in the water as it crosses ship lanes.
